Now that the tickets for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness are now available, another trailer promo has been released for the upcoming Marvel movie featuring Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Strange and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff (amongst others). In the new promotional video, viewers see Tommy and Billy Maximoff, Speed and Wiccan, return from Marvel Studios’ WandaVision as part of Wanda’s daily dream/nightmare.

In addition to footage of the return of the twins and footage from Westview, viewers also see more of the variants of Doctor Strange and Wanda, as well as more footage of Rachel McAdams’ Christine Palmer, the love interest-turned ‘just friend’ of Doctor Strange. We know from watching the animated What If…? series that Doctor Strange doomed the world trying to save Christine, which does not bode well for this upcoming film…

Fans were also treated to four new posters featuring the characters in the upcoming film. In addition to Doctor Strange and Wanda Maximoff / The Scarlet Witch and their variants, fans will also see Dr. Christine Palmer, Wong, the current Sorcerer Supreme, having taken over for Doctor Strange during the Blip, and America Chavez, universe-hopping super-powered individual, portrayed by Marvel newcomer Xochitl Gomez (she also appeared in the first season of The Baby-Sitters’ Club franchise on Netflix).

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the first Marvel film to premiere since the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home which broke a great many records and featured the return of so many beloved characters from previous Spider-Man franchises. Doctor Strange is rumored to do the same, with Patrick Stewart’s Professor X from Fox’s X-Men franchise allegedly making an appearance and Hayley Atwell returning as Captain Carter from the animated What If…? series, as hinted in one of the previous Doctor Strange posters featuring her shield. Other cameos are rumored but are yet to be confirmed.

At any rate, it is safe to save that the Multiverse of Madness will blow people’s minds! Stay tuned for more Marvel updates and be sure to check out the movie when it comes to cinemas on May 6!
