On September 29th, 2023, at midnight EST, Jung Kook, a member of the popular boy band BTS, released his new solo single, 3D. This new single comes months after the artist’s first song in his solo career, which debuted on July 14th, 2023, and is titled Seven. Also in July of 2023, the band launched their first book, titled Beyond the Story, which is a biography and record of their 10-year career in music. With BTS becoming increasingly popular and currently holding the spot for the biggest boy band on the planet, have you read their book or listened to Jung Kook’s solo songs?
3D
3D, which featured Jack Harlow, is an R&B single, with upbeat rhythms and catchy lyrics. The chorus features the lyrics “You know I like it girl, 3D” repeated, and Jack Harlow raps in the single several times. In addition to the song, a music video was dropped at the same time. The video features Jung Kook and Harlow, with the singer dancing alongside his backup dancers. The dance moves are quite stylish and catchy and match the vibe of the song perfectly. In addition to Jung Kook, the video includes Harlow, who plays chess with the singer at one point. The music video can be found here.
The song was released after BigHit Music, Jung Kook’s agency, released two Hero Films, both on September 24th, which featured the singer in different wardrobes. Three days after the Hero Films, which allowed viewers to have a sneak peek into the new single, the official teaser for the music video was released. The teaser showed Harlow and Jung Kook playing chess, as well as the singer carrying a sledgehammer. To watch the teaser, click here.
Seven

Beyond the Story
Beyond the Story, which is a play on words of one version of what the name BTS stands for (Beyond the Scene), is the title of the band’s book. It was released on July 9th, 2023, and is a biography and testament to the band’s ten years in the music industry. In those ten years, the band has broken records and taken the world by storm. They’ve been nominated for Grammys, Billboard Music Awards, multiple other music awards, and even hold 23 Guinness World Records and have been entered into Guinness’s Hall of Fame.
The book was a collaboration effort between the band and Kang Myeongseok, and was translated into English by Anton Hur, Clare Richards, and Slin Jung. Beyond the Story can be purchased on Amazon, Books-A-Million, Target, Barnes & Noble, and many other retailers.
Have you streamed Jung Kook’s new single? The singer keeps smashing records and achievements and doesn’t seem to be letting up anytime soon. With BTS’s return coming in 2025, it might be time to get caught up on their 10-year career with their book.
