Fans of Marvel’s Netflix series, Daredevil, look no further because Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio are returning for Marvel Studios’ Echo series. Echo is a spin-off series of Hawkeye, the Disney Plus series, featuring Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop.
Charlie Cox first reprised his role as Matt Murdock / Daredevil in Spiderman: No Way Home shortly before D’Onofrio appeared in Hawkeye as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin. With a Marvel Studios’ Daredevil series on the way, fans will see both Cox and D’Onofrio in Echo before Daredevil airs.

The Hollywood Reporter reported that, “Sources say Echo will include a plotline in which Daredevil, whose alter ego is blind attorney Matt Murdock, is searching out a former ally. ” Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter may also be reprising her role. According to The Weekly Planet, Jones may also be making an appearance in the Echo series.
Marvel Studios’ Echo series will feature Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez / Echo, the titular character. The series will follow Echo as her life in New York as a gang leader catches up with her as she returns to her hometown and reconnects with her Native American roots.
At the end of Hawkeye, Maya supposed killed Kingpin, after she learned that Kingpin was responsible for the death of her uncle William Lopez. However, the shot happened off-screen and it appears as though Kingpin survived.

Zahn McClarnon will reprise his role as William Lopez in the Echo series. More cast members are Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs and Cody Lightning and Graham Greene, all with in undisclosed roles. Sydney Freeland and Catriona McKenzie will direct episodes. Marion Dayre serving as head writer. The series is expected to debut on Disney+ in 2023.
