This novel covers the stories of four customers who take this chance in order to heal or move on. Cancers are lovers of humanity with all its flaws, and they are sure to love each character’s story.
4. Emma by Jane Austen
An oldie (but a goodie), Jane Austen’s Emma is how I picture most Cancers to be. Emma Woodhouse considers herself a master matchmaker. She loves her friends and family, and only wants the best for them, even if that means meddling into business that she has no right to be part of. One thing Emma is known for is her stubbornness and temper, which is seen often when she is arguing with Mr. Knightley. Cancers can get their fix of romance, a temperamental protagonist, and family in this Austen novel.
3. The Realm of Possibility by David Levithan
As discussed earlier, Cancers love the intricacies of humanity, and Levithan’s fictional poetry book fully encapsulates that. With twenty POVs, readers explore the lives of teenagers that all attend the same school but are going through unique circumstances in their lives. There are some stories that contain triggering subjects such as eating disorders and bullying, but the poems contain how love and joy are all within the realm of possibility. If you’re a Cancer in need of stories that are both emotional and inspiring, this is the one for you!
2. Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn
Cancers rely on their instincts and intuition to make both simple and difficult decisions in their life. In Flynn’s novel, reporter Camille Preaker returns to her hometown from a stay at the psych ward to cover a murder and disappearance. She soon finds that she has more in common with the young victims than she initially believes. Camille must face her past and learn from it in order to bring the truth to light. Cancers will find themselves connected to Camille, her story, and how she uses her instincts to cover this case.

Lastly, no Cancer’s TBR list would be complete without a little enemies-to-lovers! After Jude’s parents are murdered, her and her sisters are taken away to live in the High Court of Faerie. It’s in school that she meets Cardan, the youngest son of the High King. He may be beautiful, but Jude despises Cardan the most. In order to secure a place in court, she must go against him. If you want political intrigue, tension, and action, this is book is a must for Cancers!
