The ‘Conversations With Friends’ Teaser is Here

After the wild success of Emmy Award-winning ‘Normal People’ in 2020, Sally Rooney fever has gone beyond the literary world into mainstream pop culture and fans are ready to devour her stories on screen once again.

Hulu and BBC Three have unveiled a teaser for their upcoming adaptation of Sally Rooney’s ‘Conversations With Friends.’ There is no specific release date yet, but episodes will be available to stream sometime this coming May.

By now you’re probably aware of the upcoming Conversations With Friends miniseries adaptation. Originally announced in February 2020, filming news and casting updates about the series have trickled out slowly over the past two years, but it’s finally coming this May.

The minute long teaser is sparse in dialogue but it showcases the show’s sultry visuals and intense chemistry between the cast.

Sally Rooney’s 2017 debut novel is the story of two friends in their early twenties, Frances (played by newcomer Alison Oliver) and Bobbi (Sasha Lane of American Honey) and their friendship/entanglement with an older married couple, Nick and Melissa (Joe Alwyn of The Favourite and Jemima Kirke of HBO’s Girls).
