T L Swan, acclaimed psychologist turned author, has recently announced the launch of her latest project in the publishing industry, “Keeperton.” This new venture, distributed by publishing house Simon & Schuster, is slated to hit the market in August.
The Mission

“Where Words and Authors Matter.”
Keeperton aims to “close the gap between digital and traditional publishing” and is “dedicated to creating personalized publishing deals that provide authors with the maximized potential for success without having to sign away the rights to their work for life.”
The company’s unique approach to partnerships with authors, including tailored support and a focus on diverse voices, sets it apart in the publishing industry. In hopes of fostering “an environment where writers are valued, respected, and supported in every step of their publishing journey,” the company claims to prioritize the authors’ success over sales.
The Imprints

The company plans to launch multiple imprints specializing in various genres, including Arndell, its first imprint. This imprint focuses on romance fiction and has ten titles lined up for publication within its first year — four frontlist and six backlist.
Swan’s new novel The Bonus, scheduled for release on August 13, is number one on the frontlist. The novel, which is only available in print, will contain bonus chapters exclusive to print. As for the backlist titles, Arndell will release Swan’s Mr. trilogy.
The Authors

While the date for open submissions has yet to be announced, Keeperton plans to expand its author pool beyond Swan. Not only will they feature other unique voices, but the company intends to publish six to eight new titles annually through its imprint, Arndell.
