Thank you for chatting with us, Amy. Let’s get to the interview!
Why did you start your Bookstagram?
After I finished grad school, I had a moment of “now what?” I decided to combine my love of reading with my love of getting free stuff… ergo, Bookstagram. 🙂
Where are you from?
I’m located in Minnesota.

What do you want your Instagram to bring to the world?
Joy. There’s too much crap in the world to not try to promote joy whenever possible. Reading is my passion and a huge part of who I am, so whenever I can share that love with a fellow bookish friend, then it’s a win!
Fun fact about you:
I have over 2,000 books in my at-home library. 📚

What’s your special approach to content?
I don’t feel like there’s a special approach necessarily. Be yourself and the rest will come. 🙂
Author to take a selfie with:
Colleen Hoover or Tarryn Fisher. WAIT! Both of them in one photo, please. 😭

When did you know you had made it as a Bookstagrammer?
My goal was 10K followers within my first year and I reached that in ten months! The grind was real, but the effort was worth it because I got to connect with SOOO many amazing people. Book people are my kind of people. 💜
