New York Times bestselling author and Executive Producer of the hit movie series, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and TV series, The Summer I Turned Pretty, Jenny Han is back with another on-screen hit alongside Co-Showrunner and Executive Producer Sascha Rothchild.

XO, Kitty is the coming-of-age series we all wish we had when we were younger. Join matchmaker Katherine Song-Covey (Anna Cathcart), aka Kitty, for another adventure, but this time it’s her own. As she travels halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she soon realizes that she doesn’t know everything there is to know about love.

It seems like fate when Kitty discovers that her boyfriend of 4 years, Dae Heon Kim (Minyeong Choi) attends the same high school that her late mother attended during her junior year. You may remember Kitty and Dae’s first encounter from To All the Boys: Always and Forever when she asks him to take a photo of her family atop Seoul’s Namsan Tower. We love a good meet cute!

When Kitty applies to the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) and gets in, she convinces her dad, Dan Covey, and his wife, Trina that spending Junior year at KISS is not just about chasing her boyfriend, but learning about her mom and understand the things she never got to know about her.

Kitty gets the surprise of her life when her boyfriend Dae, shows up with a girlfriend. When things start to get complicated and she considers calling it quits to catch the next plane back to LA, her best friend Quincy “Q” Shabazian (Anthony Keyvan) reminds her that she came to KISS to have new experiences and live her life. We all need a friend like Q.

Foes turn into friends, relationships are tested, dreams become a reality, and fate takes an unexpected turn in this heartwarming story. Kitty puts everything on the table and her heart on the line and we can’t wait for you to watch the story unfold.

The series’ official synopsis reads:

“Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.”
