What I can say about F.R.I.E.N.D.S is that anything and everything is too little. The first show that I binged was F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Like any other person who lives life using sarcasm, Chandler was my favorite character. Actor Matthew Perry was Chandler. No, perhaps otherwise. Thus, when Matthew Perry announced his book, I started counting down the days. Reading the life of the real Chandler Bing is bound to be interesting. He has named it, Friends, Lovers and The Big Terrible Thing.
A source mentioned he is not holding back in the memoir. “He wants to recount his experiences, both good and bad, to help others and set the record straight over several incidents that were untold until now, taken out of context or in some cases totally twisted the wrong way and needing complete clarification.” He went on Twitter and announced about his book in the most Perry and Chandler way possible.
The source stated, “Plus, he’ll discuss what went wrong in a number of his past relationships. It wasn’t always a bed of roses for Matthew on and off the Friends set, and Matt isn’t going to sugarcoat the tougher times that he went through with the cast. He’ll also discuss what it was like at the reunion, both good and bad.”
He has mentioned that the media has written a lot about him in the past and, to give justice to the highs and lows, he will publish a memoir. In this book, he will talk about his addiction, rumors floating about him and his feelings towards the Friends costars. He has also assured us that there will not be any sugarcoating the troubled times. Friends is a show that has been loved for a long time. With one of the main cast releasing a book about his experience, the show will only get bigger.
At the same time, Perry is not going to be salacious or mean but instead just write his own truth. The book is said to drop in the fall of this year.
