The ever-famous and fabulous, Cher was recently on The Tonight Show and gushed all about her memoir and what a journey it has been working on it.
The singer, 77, confirmed that she was still working on her long-awaited memoir, and I have to say, I am really excited to read it. As she said during the interview, she has done so much with her life! A lot of it has been in the public eye, but certainly not everything, so I am excited for all the juicy, behind-the-scenes details.
“I just totally chickened out,” Cher confessed during the episode. “I didn’t put in some things that needed to be in. And they’re not comfortable, but they need to be in, so I have to go back and man up.”
Jimmy Fallon encouraged the singer, saying, “You gotta do it. It’s beyond therapy. It’s tough.”
Fallon, of course, made the conversation entertaining as he pitched titles for her book, including I Got Scoops and my favorite, Over-Cher-Ing.
Cher announced back in 2017 that she was working on her memoir, so she has spent quite a while writing on it. If I know anything about Cher, I know that she is truly trying to make it perfect for her fans but also for herself. When she decides to release it, it will be because she is fully satisfied with the product, and she will truly think it encompasses her life. This woman knows what she’s doing! I fully trust her judgment.
