Is Henry Cavill joining House of the Dragon?
Despite Henry Cavill’s extensive fantasy background, he won’t be joining the Game of Thrones spin-off anytime soon. Cavill responded to the rumor in an interview with Josh Horowitz of the Happy Sad Confused podcast.
“To be fair, when I was watching House of the Dragon, I was like “I feel like a lot of these guys could make really good Witchers…” I think it would be cool to be in Westeros, I really do. I don’t think there’s a place for me in there, though.”Henry Cavill
While we won’t be seeing Cavill as a Targaryen anytime soon, he does have a very big schedule ahead of him. Enola Holmes 2 is set to premiere November 4 starring Cavill as Sherlock and Millie Bobby Brown as Enola. He also appeared in the closing credit sequence of Black Adam, confirming that he is reprising his role as Superman. The Man of Steel actor is starring in the upcoming movie, The Flash, set to release June 2023 and finishing out The Witcher for season 3.
