Thanks for joining us! Let’s begin the interview!
Where are you from?
[I’m] from southern CA, but I’ve been in the PNW (Oregon) for a long time now and consider it home.
Why did you start your Bookstagram?
I had read over 100 books the year before, and I thought it would be fun to have a place to talk about them with other people reading and listening to some of the same spicy books.

What do you want your Instagram to bring to the world?
Laughter and a safe place for people to foster their love of spicy romance books and audio.

What’s a fun fact about you?
I’m dyslexic.
Who are some of your favorite Bookstagrammers?
Probably my two best friends, @sarahjpier0123 and @tiffanypreads. They make me smile and laugh every day.

What are your favorite books, and who are your favorite authors?
An impossible question that is always subject to change, lol. But my current top three books are Welcome To The Dark Side by Giana Darling, A Thousand Boy Kisses by Tillie Cole, and The Star Crossed Duet by Trilina Pucci. Some of my favorite authors also include QB Tyler, Brit Benson, Meghan Quinn, Elsie Silver, Sara Cate, Lee Jacquot, Brighton Walsh, T L Swan, Gemma Weir, and Amanda Richardson.

Who’s your fictional crush?
Ronan Cade from Highest Bidder by Sara Cate, Zeus Garro from Welcome to the Dark Side by Gianna Darling, and Chase Ravage from Prey Tell by Amanda Richardson. Don’t ask me to pick just one, lol. I can’t and won’t.
What’s your special approach to content?
Just to have fun and be myself. I know that seems cliché, but I make bookish content because it brings me joy. So, I’m never going to approach making content based on what others are doing or what I think other people want to see. If it doesn’t align with what makes me happy and feels authentic to me, I won’t do it.

What’s your aesthetic / Instagram page theme?
I don’t really think I have one. My page is exclusively video reels, and my background changes frequently, so it’s kind of just a ‘what you see is what you get’ vibe, lol.

How often do you post?
1-3 times a day, usually.
What does your Bookstagram mean to you?
Community, friendship, a safe place to be horny over fictional characters, lol.

What’s your favorite Bookstore?
At this point, I usually only go to bookstores for the vibes. A lot of my favorite authors are indie-published and can’t be found in a lot of major bookstores at this time. So, if I’m not ordering books off of authors’ websites or Amazon, I like to visit really unique, one-of-a-kind bookstores wherever I go. Bonus point if they have coffee and a seating area to chill for a while.
Who’s an author you’d love to take a selfie with?
I’ve had the immense privilege and pleasure to have met a lot of my favorite authors in person. But at this time, a few on my “can’t wait to meet” list are Gemma Weir, Rebecca Yarros, and Tessa Bailey.

What’s your favorite book cover?
I could never pick just one. But what I will say is that I am an absolute slut for anything with florals and gold foiling.
What’s a book you have claimed to have read that you didn’t?
I always say I’ve read the ACOTAR series, WHICH ISN’T A LIE! But I stopped after Frost and Starlight lol. I never made it to Silver Flame.

When did you know you had made it as a Bookstagrammer?
Probably the 1st time an author reached out to me about a Paid Promotional collaboration. I was like, “Who me??? A nobody fangirl?”. I still feel like that a lot of the time, lol.
Any advice for aspiring Bookstagrammers?
Just be yourself and never ever compare yourself to other creators. Being confident and genuine in this space goes such a long way.
