The first two books in the Windy City Series by Liz Tomforde revolve around twins Stevie and Ryan Shay as they find love and happiness — perfect for fans of sports romances. Stevie and Ryan share an incredible brother-sister relationship from the beginning, constantly checking in with each other and taking care of one another in times of need. Stevie lives with Ryan in Chicago so she can be closer to her twin brother, who plays professional basketball for Chicago’s NBA team. Mile High is Stevie Shay’s story and the first one in the Windy City Series. The Right Move focuses on Ryan and Stevie’s new best friend, Indy, as she and Ryan fake their way through a relationship to prove Ryan’s commitment to his basketball team. Each love story is pure and will have you rooting for them from the comfort of wherever you enjoy reading.
The Stand-In by Lily Chu
The Stand-In is a great book for readers who love celebrity romances and fake dating. Gracie has believed she was an only child her entire life until she meets the famous Chinese actress, Wei, one random day while Wei is in town for a new project. Gracie and Wei have an uncanny resemblance which both fascinates them and freaks them out. Wei ends up propositioning Gracie into pretending to be her, so she can take some much-needed time off from being in the public eye. Wei and Gracie bond over their similarities and even connect on a deeper level when Gracie discovers the real reason Wei needed a stand-in.
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Fangirl is perfect for those getting ready to leave home for college for the first time. In Fangirl, twin sisters Cath and Wren are bonded for life by the Simon Snow series. They live the ultimate fangirl life together — but it doesn’t last. Wren grows up faster than Cath; she wanted to experience life on her own and Cath wasn’t ready to do that. As a dependent person, Cath finds it hard to be not constantly be around her sister, the person she would do everything with. Once they go away to college, Wren decides she doesn’t want to room with Cath, so Cath can be more independent. Wren pushes Cath to step outside of her comfort zone, wanting her sister to be her own person.

A popular pick on BookTok for those who live for the grumpy/sunshine and faking dating tropes. Naomi and Tina are very different from each other. In fact, the only thing they share is the fact that they’re twins. While Naomi is spiraling after a life-changing decision, Tina decides to go on the run and leave her daughter with Naomi — who never knew she had a niece. Naomi and Tina have an interesting relationship that’s somewhat strained from the times Tina has used Naomi. As much as Naomi wishes for her and Tina to get along, it seems nearly impossible at this point. No matter what, though, these sisters will still save each other from danger.
