Cuffing season has officially started, so you know what that means. It’s time to pick out our book boyfriends and girlfriends we wish we could date in real life. No one is off-limits, pick any book character you want because we’re imagining they’re all single and would date us if they knew us too! Here’s a list of popular book boyfriends and girlfriends from romance books that swept us off our feet and left us thinking about them for days.
Justin from Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez
Justin and Emma were both cursed. Every person they date meets their soulmate right after breaking up with them. This makes it impossible for either of them to meet their one true love. To break the curse, Justin and Emma decide to date each other, hoping to cancel it out. What’s supposed to be a quick and easy fling turns into a whirlwind romance between them, leaving them both unwilling to say goodbye when their time is up.

They weren’t expecting their sexual chemistry to be so spicy and compatible though.
Diana is extremely loyal and fiery to the point where she will stand up for you in any situation no matter the circumstances. Loyalty is an attractive quality in a partner, one of Diana’s many strengths and reasons why she would make a great girlfriend.
Miles from Funny Story by Emily Henry
Daphne had no other choice but to fake date her ex-fiance’s new fiance’s ex-boyfriend when she received the invitation to the wedding. Things take a perfect turn for Isaiah when he accidentally gets married to Kennedy in Vegas during a drunken night. Even though Kennedy isn’t interested in Isaiah, player ways, that isn’t her main concern. She’s his athletic trainer and is in danger of losing her job if anyone finds out the marriage is fake. Aside from Isaiah being a hot baseball player and a charmer with the ladies, all he wants is to be what the one Kennedy wants. He does everything in his power to prove himself to her, he goes through obstacles and even faces rejection multiple times, but it never stops him. Who wouldn’t want a man who constantly looks for ways to make their days better and brighter?
Indya from Crossroads by Devney Perry
A second-chance romance set in a western town in Montana on a gorgeous ranch where two young kids meet every summer for years before being torn apart. West was Indya’s first kiss, best friend, partner, and haven whenever she would visit the small town in Montana during the summer. When she finally returns after years apart, West doesn’t exactly welcome her with open arms, especially given the circumstances of her return.

These significant others would never date any of us. That’s only because they are all madly and loyally in love with their partners until death do they part. It’s always fun to imagine what life would be like if they were real and were our significant others, but alas, all we have is our imagination. No one can tell us to stop pretending we’re the ones they’re dating though. If only they were single and real, then we could cuff all of them ourselves.
