Making our beds each morning is something we all know we should do, but whether we actually do it or not is a different matter entirely. For National Make Your Bed Day, we’re going to take a look at the four Percy Jackson and the Olympians characters that I am positive never miss a day making their beds.
Annabeth Chase

As a daughter of Athena, the goddess of Wisdom, Annabeth certainly knows the importance of starting her day off right. And making her bed is one of the first little accomplishments that makes her feel ready to face the day. Whether she is making the blueprints for her most recent architectural project, fighting monsters, or spending the day training with Percy, she always makes sure her bed is made, no exceptions!
Tyson

Tyson is the most kind and loyal cyclops there ever was, and will do anything to protect his friends and family. He may not be the most intelligent, but he has a strong sense of duty, and he will work hard and efficiently at whatever task is at hand. And I’m guessing that also applies to making his bed each morning. He is very neat and tidy for a cyclops, and sometimes he even makes Percy’s bed when he is visiting him. And that just so happens to be the only time Percy’s bed ever gets made.
Sally Jackson

Sally Jackson, definitively, makes her bed every morning. She’s a selfless, supportive, and hardworking mother, and it’s in her nature to start her day off on the right foot. She also has tried for years to set a good example for Percy, but as one of the least tidy demigods known to the world, he has never caught on.
Thalia Grace

A no-nonsense daughter of Zeus and Hunter of Artemis, you will not catch Thalia Grace skipping a day making her bed. That is, when she actually has a bed to make and isn’t on the hunt with her fellow maidens of Artemis. Of course, when she is on the hunt, she can magically fold her tent (and therefore her bed) up into the size of a pack of gum. I suppose she’s still making her bed then anyway, just a bit untraditionally.
And there you have it, the four Percy Jackson characters who I think always make their beds. Now the question is, have you made your bed today?
