We can get quite busy throughout the year and forget how much we love books. Some books find themselves sitting in the back of your nightstand with a bookmark in the middle of a chapter. Other books are brand new but covered in dust and begging to be opened. However, 2025 is right around the corner, and we have the chance to get a fresh start. We are introducing twenty-three super simple reading resolutions that you can accomplish in 2025!

Try An Audiobook

Reading a book by listening to its audio may be a little different for you, but it’s quite convenient. You can listen to an audiobook while you are doing yoga, driving to work, taking a shower, and cooking dinner. It’s an efficient way to read a book, and you should definitely give it a try!

Read a Book with Bad Reviews

This one may seem a bit odd, but hear me out! A book may have terrible reviews, but you might happen to fall in love with it. You never know the possibilities that lie in between a book’s pages. Therefore, pick up a book with terrible reviews and give it a shot!

Read a Book a Loved One Recommends

One of your friends or family members definitely has a bookshelf that you admire. Ask them what their favorite book is. Or ask them which book they think everyone should read at least once in their life. Take their answer to your question to a bookstore, and now you’ve got your next book to read!

Read 100 Pages of a Book of Your Choice

A book with a 100 on it.

Okay, we know one hundred pages may sound like a lot, but you totally got this! Make it your goal to read one hundred pages in one week. You may even find yourself reading more than one hundred pages each week to keep up with the plot!

Read Outside

You can read at the park, at the beach, under a tree, next to a river, or on your front steps! Reading under the colorful leaves during fall, among the blooming flowers in spring, and soaking up the warm sun in summer. Immersing yourself in nature while reading a book will make the storyline ten times better!

We all have that one book that goes from place to place without getting opened. It’ll travel from your dining room table to your bedroom nightstand to your living room couch, and then the cycle repeats itself. Revive it from the depths of your room, shake off the dust, and give it another go!

Visit a Local Bookstore
