Lorna of @lornasbookcorner
Why did you start your Bookstagram?
When I got back into reading, I wanted to join a space that was passionate about books as much as me. After contemplating for months on starting an account, one day I thought, just give it a go. The best decision I made!

Where are you from?
I’m from Nottingham in the UK.
Favorite Books and Authors:

Some of my favourite books are:
The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah
Boys Of Tommen Series by Chloe Walsh
The Beartown Trilogy by Fredrik Backman
A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara
The Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Maas
I still think about these books all the time. My favourite authors are Fredrik Backman, Kristin Hannah, Taylor Jenkins Reid, and Abby Jimenez. I’ll read anything they write!
TBR List:
I have around 100 books on my TBR which is ridiculous; I’m trying to cut it down. Demon Copperhead, 11/22/63, and The Goldfinch I’m determined to read this year but I’m so intimidated by them!

What’s Your Special Approach to Content?
I try to create a “happy and positive” theme but I’m not strict on what I post. Some days I’ll put in a bit more effort, it all depends on how much time I have.

Aesthetic / Instagram page theme:
Colourful and vibrant! I share book reviews, hauls, and a lot of book stacks to hopefully give people one recommendation.

How often do you post?
Around 2-3x a week.
What does your Bookstagram mean to you?
This community is like a big book club that I’m grateful to be a part of. Everyone is so welcoming, supportive, and genuinely lovely. If you’re thinking of joining Bookstagram, just do it!
