For this week’s Bookstr Team Tuesday, we’re introducing you to one of our fabulous members from our Graphics department, Elizabeth Hoyer! From helping create graphics to giving feedback and assisting others on the team, Elizabeth does a little bit of everything here at Bookstr. However, today we’re learning more about her outside of her work.
First off, Elizabeth is a huge night owl. She finds that she has the most vibrant energy at night because it makes for a more peaceful environment — a great time to read and listen to her favorite reading music: classical. Funny enough, even though she loves the nighttime, she would still pick a hardcover over an e-book to read. There’s more to Elizabeth than book culture, though; she is an Overwatch enthusiast and admits that she plays the game way too much. As a big fan of adventure, Elizabeth finds that when she’s stressed out over something, going on a run or doing a workout helps her beat the demons stress brings.
When she’s not impressing you with her knowledge of the Greek language, maybe you can convince her to show you her secret talent: she can do a backflip! Now that you know how awesome she is, Elizabeth has five books she thinks you should read. While they’re worth picking up at any given time, these books are perfect to consume during the spooky season. Read on for her picks, if you dare.
