In this grumpy/sunshine Bengali romance, Naomi Kelly and Dev Mukherjee begin fake dating to appease their parents and help the business Naomi is attempting to make successful. Naomi gets lessons in Bengali culture, and Dev gets to have his mother call off the arranged matchmaking. Sweet as it is spicy, Sunshine and Spice is sure to get you on Santa’s nice list.
The Nightmare Before Kissmas by Sara Raasch
A holiday book for the queer community, The Nightmare Before Kissmas stars Prince Nicholas “Coal” Claus of Christmas trying to escape the PR-laden Christmas his father, the current Santa, has created. However, despite his father trying to make him marry Iris the Easter Princess, Coal falls for his marriage rival, the Prince of Halloween, Hex. Sure to get you put on the naughty list for reading it because of behind-the-bar make-out sessions and more, The Nightmare Before Kissmas is the spicy read of the season.
Hearts Overboard by Becky Dean
Sweet as sugar, Hearts Overboard puts the nice in a nice list. Savannah Moore is trying to get her ex Caleb to eat his words about her being boring. She does this by going on an Alaskan cruise with family friend Tanner, whom she hates. However, as Tanner helps her become more adventurous, love blossoms despite the cold. This sweet romance will satisfy your wanderlust and longing this holiday season.
If You Hate Me by Helena Hunting
Rix and Tristian’s naughty escapades are sure to get any reader on the naughty list straight away. In If You Hate Me, Rix is caught in a roommate situation with Tristan, whom she loathes no less. Tristan is Rix’s brother’s best friend, adding to the tension between them as well. This sexy novel is memorable, fun, and heated without a doubt.
Whether you’ve been nice or naughty this year, these books pack a punch and should be on your TBR list if they aren’t already. Remember, Santa’s checking his list twice, so be sure to be on your best (or worst) behavior.
