With a well organized and visually-pleasing insta-feed that utilizes her personal green and white aesthetic, Rachel’s main goal is helping her social media followers with suggestions of their next favorite read. Her thoughtful and relevant memes help guide her followers with fun bookish topics, such as book binding and advent calendars. Today, we will learn more about what is on her personal TBR list and all the details about her Bookstagram lifestyle.

Why did you start your Bookstagram?
I’ve been writing my book blog, Never Enough Novels (www.neverenoughnovels.com), where I share curated book lists and detailed book recommendations for almost ten years, but I wanted a place where I could connect on a more personal level with fellow readers. So, in 2019, I took the leap and started my Bookstagram so I could chat in real time about all the books I’m reading, share snippets of my regular life, and gush over my favorite authors.
What do you want your Instagram to bring to the world?
Joy! In the past five years, my Bookstagram account has changed many, many times, but the one consistent feature is bringing joy to your reading life. Whether it’s uplifting, swoon-worthy, lighthearted, or thrilling book recommendations, relatable funny reels, or cute bookish graphics, I want to make people’s lives a little bit happier!

What’s on your TBR List?
My TBR is a terrifying place, but a few books I added recently are Somewhere Beyond The Sea by T.J. Klune, Two Can Play by Ali Hazelwood, Society of Lies by Lauren Ling Brown, and What Does It Feel Like by Sophie Kinsella.
What is your aesthetic Instagram page theme?
Chaos! I’ve tried in the past to curate a cohesive grid, but this year, I’m embracing chaos. Whether it’s bookish memes, silly reels, or a dedicated book review post, I’m not stressing about how it looks on my page. I want to simply share content that readers will love!
How often do you post?
I try to post almost every day! Since I’ve stopped caring about what my account looks like as a whole, I have the freedom to post whatever content I’m in the mood to create!
What does your Bookstagram mean to you?
I’m incredibly proud of the space I’ve created that celebrates authors, readers, and everything about this hobby that we all love so much. As an accountant by day, talking about books and creating silly reels or cute graphics is my much-needed creative outlet! It’s also the one place I can chat about books to my heart’s content with a wide variety of incredible people that I’ve met.
Which author would you want to take a selfie with if you had a chance?
Tessa Bailey! She seems like such a bundle of fun and I’d love the chance to just hang out with her for a while!
Do you have any advice for aspiring Bookstagrammers?
Don’t be afraid to try new things! There are so many different ways to be a Bookstagrammer, so it may take a while to figure out what you like to focus on the most. Plus, it’s ok if that changes over time! Focus on doing what you enjoy and creating a space you love.
