For more than twenty years now we’ve loved each other in a special way, and I’ve lost count of the times that people have said to me, ‘You must have drunkenly made out, just once!’ ‘You must have kissed!’ ‘There must be something!’ But what we have is far deeper than that. Watson writes. It’s one of the purest loves I can think of. We’re soulmates, and we’ve always had each other’s backs. I know we always will.

Anyone emotional yet? Join the club! This is so much love and we are here for it.

Watson concludes her heart felt message with, “I’m so glad you have written this book and shared it with us. It’s a delight and a gift. The world is lucky to have you, and I’m even luckier to have you as a friend. Chapeau, little piece of my soul. And congratulations.” No, Emma. It is all of us who are lucky to have the two of you. We are officially sobbing with happiness.

The memoir dives into what Felton’s life was really like growing up in the Wizarding World and reflects on working with amazing talent.

He reflects on his experiences working with cinematic greats such as Alan Rickman, Sir Michael Gambon, Dame Maggie Smith, and Ralph Fiennes (including that awkward Voldemort hug).

He also highlights the lasting friendships he made along the way.

He discusses the lasting relationships he made over that decade of filming, including with Emma Watson, who started out as a pesky nine-year-old whom he mocked for not knowing what a boom mic was but who soon grew into one of his dearest friends.

Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard is expected to hit the shelves October 18, 2022 in the United States and October 13, 2022 in the United Kingdom. You can preorder it here!
