Book Culture Bookstagram

Introducing our bookstagrammer of the week, @caitbooks from New York! Her cozy Instagram page adds some woodsy nature vibes to your day which is a refreshing change from our view inside the concrete jungle.

Here’s a fun fact about her to get you started– she’s a mathematics and computer science major! Guess that means you can be a reader who’s good at math. Who knew?

Why did you start your Bookstagram?

I started my bookstagram years ago because I realized all I was ever doing on my personal Instagram account was talk about books. I thought it might be nice to make a separate account just for books, to save my IRL friends from constantly hearing about them.

What do you want your Instagram to bring to the world?

I just want it to be a safe place for everyone to talk about what they love, and feel less alone in the world.

How often do you post?

I post 7 days a week! And 5 days of those 7, I post twice (both an in-feed post and a reel).
