Why did you start your Bookstagram? What do you want your Instagram to bring to the world?
I started Bookstagram alongside my blog, hoping to connect readers across both platforms. But soon, I realized I loved sharing my bookish passion through creative posts and pictures even more — and I haven’t stopped posting since.
Where are you from?
I am from Gujarat, India.

What’s a book on your TBR you’ve been putting off reading, and why?
A Thousand Splendid Suns and And The Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini. I bought these two along with Kite Runner, but after reading Kite Runner and the way it made me cry, I don’t think I’m ready for another one like that.
Name a popular author/book/book series that you haven’t read yet but want to?
Sarah J. Maas’ books. I still haven’t read the ACOTAR series, and I sooo want to dive into that world after hearing so much about it.
Name a publisher/publishing company that never misses with their new releases?
Berkley. I have read many books by this publisher, and I receive many eARCs from them, so they are definitely hard to miss.
What’s Your Special Approach to Content?
I’m more spontaneous. I don’t exactly plan ahead. I know that’s not something all experts would advise, and it can be time-consuming, but I go with my mood. What usually stays the same is basic content. I rotate between them from weekly wrap-up/ last read, then reviews (either reels or carousel, next is a fun bookish reel, and finally a trending book challenge/bookish carousel.
Aesthetic / Instagram page theme:
Cozy, light, and airy. Authentic and balanced. Minimal, yet expressive.
What does your Bookstagram mean to you?
It’s my love letter to reading, a book haven, a platform to find my kindred spirits and connect with them.
Favorite indie bookstore:
We don’t have those in my city, but I love visiting book fairs whenever they’re in town.
Who would you have supply you with a lifetime of books?
Whoever can handle my mood swings between fantasy, romance, historical fiction, mystery, and literary fiction without questioning my sanity.
Author you wish to take a selfie with:
Leigh Bardugo. I would read anything she writes.
Favorite book cover:
I’m pretty fickle with this — there are just too many gorgeous covers, and new favorites keep finding their way onto my radar.
What are your favorite creative avenues to explore when putting together a post for your page, and why? (graphics, editing the photos, creating edits, etc.)
Adobe Lightroom and Canva.
What do you like most about Bookstagram?
A community that gets you, a space to get creative, and a cozy corner for all things books.
What’s a memorable or favorite interaction you’ve had with an author or follower?
I can’t pinpoint one, but I’ve had so many great chats with followers. Every thoughtful comment or DM where someone connects with a book like I did really sticks with me.
Advice for aspiring Bookstagrammers:
Share what you genuinely love, engage with it, and have fun with it. Your voice is what makes your space unique.
