There are not many novels I enjoy as much as Pride and Prejudice. I know that may sound very stereotypical, especially coming from an English major who is obsessed with romance, but it’s true.
Though it is a marriage-centered novel, highlighting three marriages in its plot, it still has a feminist agenda. Elizabeth Bennet is an inspiration and an entrepreneur for her time. She was not going to settle for less than she deserved and through her persistence, she was able to get exactly what she wanted out of a man.
