I have always treasured libraries, especially the New York public ones. When I went to a university in New York, one of the first things I did was get a library card to have complete access to New York’s millions of books.
I was surprised by the list Brooklyn Public Library released because I recognized many of the books, a lot of them from my childhood, but I also didn’t know a few. Here are twenty books I have read and loved and another ten that are on my need-to-read list.
