‘The Haunting of Hill House’s Victoria Pedretti Returns for Another ‘Haunting’

Victoria Pedretti, who made her first major on-screen role in Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House will return for a second season titled The Haunting of Bly Manor.

Netflix is continuing their anthology series, which kicked off with a bang with The Haunting of Hill House, which adapted Shirley Jackson’s novel of the same name. The second season, The Haunting of Bly Manor, will take on Henry James’ novel, The Turn of the Screw. The novel features the story of a governess, who is coming to care for two children, but it turns out that some supernatural forces have a hold over them.

You Season 2 Hints

Season 2 of ‘You’ Gives Joe Another Chance at Love

The second season of You, the adaptation of Caroline Kepnes’ novel of the same name, is coming soon to Netflix! The season one finale had us all on the edge of our seats, and we simply cannot wait to see how it plays out.

Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg

This is what we know so far about season two. First off, It will be based on Hidden Bodies, Kepnes’ follow-up to You, (so if you haven’t read the sequel yet, now’s your chance) and will continue to feature Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg. And, though things didn’t exactly work out with Beck (eek) he won’t stay single for long.

The show will be set in Los Angeles and is currently in the casting process. Best of all, we now know the name of Joe’s next love interest… Love.

No, really! Victoria Pedretti will play Love Quinn, a true L.A. gal and aspiring chef. She’ll be just the person to help Joe adjust to the big move… and might get a little too close for her own good. Like Beck, Love has recently experienced a shattering loss. Unlike Beck, Joe wasn’t the cause of said loss.

Showrunner Sera Gamble reassures viewers that season two won’t repeat the first season’s plot in an interview with EW:

Season 1 was a particular kind of story that we could tell about the relationship between Joe and Beck and the moment that we did what we did in the finale, that’s not repeatable. I will say that Love is a person he could only have met after what happened between him and Beck. And by the way, Joe is not out there looking for love. He’s truly heartbroken by what has happened, and so what Love offers is a different kind of friendship and a different kind of relationship.

Penn Badgley Tweet

How different will Joe Goldberg really be, though? Even Penn Badgley likes to remind viewers that Joe is absolutely not someone to admire. But for better or worse, he definitely has us hooked and ready to see more of You!
