This coming-of-age story centers on Sabrina Spellman, a teenage girl who happens to be half-human and half-witch and needs to choose what kind of life she wants to live as she battles evil forces which threaten her, her family, and the world she knows around her.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Riverdale showrunner, is also behind Sabrina, which makes sense since Riverdale is also a darker adaption of the light-hearted Archie comics. The new photos released by EW give a sneak peek of the show’s shadowy tone with a picturer of Sabrina and another with her aunts, a group of possible witches and a peculiar man. The Netflix series stars Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina, Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo and many more.
