Praised as one of the fifty greatest British writers since 1945, Ian McEwan is best known for his novel Atonement, the film adaptation of which won an Oscar for Best Original Score at the 80th Academy Awards. This year, three of McEwan’s novels are brought to big screen (On Chesil Beach, The Child in Time, and The Children Act), and he personally conducted the screen-script-adaptation for The Children Act.
