After numerous rumors and speculation, the Jurassic Park franchise will finally enter the realm of animation.
Set to be an animated action-adventure series, it follows a group of six teens who have been selected for an incredible opportunity to take part in a new adventure camp on Isla Nubar, within the same timeline of the 2015 blockbuster movie Jurassic World.
However, when the dinosaurs begin to inflict destruction all throughout the island, the campers end up stranded. Unable to contact the outside world, the group are expected to develop strong relationships between each other, from strangers to family, in order for survival.
Titled Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, it will be executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, Colin Trevorrow, Scott Kreamer and Lane Lueras. It debuts exclusively on Netflix sometime in 2020.
