The Library is for Everyone – Even These Three Animals

Libraries are wonderful places, so it’s no wonder these animals wanted to get in on the action. Maybe they wanted to finally find out why everyone loves Good Omens so much, or maybe they needed to make email accounts. Maybe it was just for the AC. We wouldn’t judge. Whatever their interest in the library was, these. animals. are. VALID.

Get this woman a library card. Though, she may be too tall and her horns too wide to get through the door, she’s a book lover in her heart, so bring them out to her if you have to. With all that lavender around her and the perfect photo lighting she’s looking good! What a friend.

These kits were actually born in the walls of the library and had to be gently extracted, but they don’t mind. They were just itching to start reading their first book anyway. Talk about goals! Their mom sure knows what’s up giving birth to them so close to all that knowledge. If she has any questions, she can just find them within the books of their local library.

Sure, he may have taken a detour into this tree, but it’s just outside the library. He’s doing his best people. Plus, this is a good place to perch and consider the last book he finished. Taking his time. We should all support him.

Racoons, a bear, and a moose, oh my! It seems like libraries are bringing more than just human beings together. Peace, unity, and books for all!

Raccoon Who Inspired Rocket in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Passes Away

Mr. Oreo, the raccoon who was the inspiration for the character of Rocket in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has passed away aged ten, after a short illness.

Mr. Oreo assisted animators in capturing racoon behaviour and movements to create the character of Rocket, who was voiced by Bradley Cooper. Rocket made his first appearance in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and featured in the 2017 sequel, as well as in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War. He will also appear in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame, which we can only hope will be dedicated to Mr. Oreo.

When Guardians of the Galaxy debuted in Hollywood, Mr. Oreo accompanied director James Gunn on the red carpet.

Mr. Oreo’s death was publicly announced via a Facebook fan page for Guardians of the Galaxy, who received the information from Mr. Oreo’s humans, who thanked their “wonderful vets for their compassion and care.”

RIP Mr. Oreo.
