Less-known comedians have come out with great work that goes unnoticed.
Every successful comedian is approached to write a book at some point in their career. These are the ones that didn't write the standard memoir.
The final book by late true crime writer Michelle McNamara will be released February 27, 2018. The news was announced today by McNamara’s widower, comedian Patton Oswalt.

The true crime thriller, titled I’ll Be Gone in the Dark, will investigate “The Golden State Killer,” who was active in Southern California between 1979 and 1986. The serial offender killed at least ten people and raped at least fifty.
McNamara was a well-respected true crime author. In April 2016, at 46-years-old she passed away suddenly as a result of a combination of drugs and a medical condition, Oswalt told the Associated Press.
