Exciting New Releases in Crime and Thriller

It’s a new week with new releases! What a great way to pass the time during this strange period, than by reading some great new thrillers that will keep you wanting more. I know I love a good page turner filled with lots of mystery and suspense. These titles will keep you racing for the last page.

1. The Boy From the Woods by Harlan Coben

The Boy From the Woods tells the story of a man named Wilde, he was found in the woods as a child by police. He has no recollection of how he got there or what happened to him so he was sent to live with a foster family. Now, thirty years have passed and Wilde finds himself living in the woods again, because it is where he is most comfortable. When a young girl goes missing, Wilde is asked to help by the town lawyer, Hester Crimstein. However, another teen goes missing just as ex military security experts arrive into town. So, that forces Wilde to return back to the town that gives him anxiety, and a town where the most powerful people have the most protected secrets. Wilde has to uncover the truth before it’s too late.

Eight Perfect Murders tells the story of Malcom Kershaw, a bookstore owner, who wrote a list back when he just worked in the bookstore, of all the unsolvable murders in crime novels. One day an FBI agent comes to Malcolm because there are murders happening in town that are similar to the murders on his list. However, there is someone else watching Malcom as he goes home every night and reads. The killer is watching Malcolm, and he knows things about his life, even about his recently deceased wife. As he looks into the investigation, more people turn up dead and the killer sets his sights directly on Malcolm.

She was allergic to everything, in a wheelchair, and no doctor could figure out what was wrong with her. So, her mom, Patty, ended up going to jail for five years. Now that Patty is out, no one will take her in but Rose Gold. Everyone in town is surprised that Rose Gold would allow her mother back into her life, but Rose Gold has been waiting to get her revenge on her mother, and her mother will soon learn she isn’t the daughter she used to be.

Alexis must now deal with the FBI, her colleagues, and Austin’s family, as well as her own emotions. She soon discovers a strange web of lies that make her wonder where Austin went, and how much danger he left her in.
