Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie, known for their roles as Jon Snow and Ygritte on Game of Thrones, took their on-screen relationship off-screen and officially confirmed their dating status in 2016. Though their romantic affair was cut brief with Olly’s arrow, they managed to reignite their affection for one another in real life.
At the season seven premiere, Harrington informed Entertainment Tonight how grateful he is towards HBO for offering him such a vivacious character as well as letting him meet his current lover.
“I think that’s the really special thing about it is that we met on this show and here we are seven years down the line back here promoting season seven,” Harington told ET. “I mean it’s mad. It’s such a special thing. I’m so privileged.”
In an earlier interview with Vogue, his retelling of the beautiful story of how and where he fell in love completely won our hearts.
“The three weeks in Iceland when we were shooting the second season. Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love [with my girlfriend Rose].”
Seriously, take a look at how adorable they are.

To bring further great news, there is possibility that the two of them may be moving a step further. According to a report by Life & Style, Harrington “recently cooked Rose a romantic candlelight dinner and proposed to her. She burst into tears and immediately said yes!”
Although the authenticity of this piece of news has not been completely confirmed, we can only hope the fire in their relationship will not be doused by the icy winter at Westeros.
The Independent also reported that Harrington and Leslie had ditched the idea of an Manhattan apartment for a heart-warming 16th century mansion costing £1.75 million (approximately $2.2 million) in the English countryside.

During his interview with James Corden, Harrington revealed details of their plan to move together.
“So, I’m very, very happy and it’s going well. She has all sorts of ideas for the house…. I said to her, because she moved into my house, ‘Look, darling, this is important that it’s our space, that it feels like our space, that you haven’t just moved into mine. Move anything you want around—change anything, chuck anything out. I went to the shops and I came back and said, ‘What did you decide?’ And she said, ‘We’re moving the kitchen downstairs.'”
Life & Style also shared with us that for their potential wedding, they would prefer to have “a traditional Scottish wedding with kilts and bagpipes” because the Hollywood scene does not sound attractive to them at all.
