‘Dawson’s Creek’ veteran Katie Holmes is set to star. Holmes was once married to Tom Cruise, kind of Scientology, which makes her casting in this movie pretty amusing. Andy Tennant, director of ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ and Hitch’ will direct the film, while Bekah Brunstetter, a writer on NBC’s hit drama “This Is Us,” will adapt the script.
The story will follow a widow and mother of three (Holmes) who hires a handyman during a terrible storm. While in their home, the handyman shares his philosophy on life.
