For this week’s Bookspot, we were fortunate enough to talk with four indie bookstores who serve as community and advocacy spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community. “Not Explicitly”: New ‘Fantastic Beasts’ Film Won’t Explore Dumbledore’s Homosexuality

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Fantastic Beasts director David Yates has said that the new film will not “explicitly” explore the relationship between young Dumbledore (Jude Law) and Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp).    However, he continued, saying   I think all the fans are aware of that. He had a very intense relationship with Grindelwald when they were young men.
