Leading the cast of House of the Dragon, HBO’s straight-to-series Game of Thrones prequel, is Paddy Considine who will play King Viserys Targaryen. The prequel, from George R. R. Martin, Ryan Condal, and Miguel Sapochnik, is based on Martin’s book Fire and Blood from his series A Song of Ice and Fire.
George R. R. Martin is a stickler for historical accuracy. This is made clear in James Hibberd’s new book, Fire Cannot Kill A Dragon, which details the inside story of HBO’s Game of Thrones from its inception to its divisive conclusion.
