The news has broken: Carrie and Me: A Mother-Daughter Love Story by comedy royalty Carol Burnett (Annie‘s Miss Hannigan, anyone?) is getting a film adaption.     At the age of twenty-six, Carol Burnett had earned a Tony Award nomination for her role in Once Upon a Mattress and secured a co-hosting spot on The Garry Moore Show but eight years later in 1967, she made history with The Carol Burnett Show.
