The Book of Kells is old and I’m not talking first Harry Potter old. In fact, I’m not even talking The Lord of The Rings old. The book is believed to have been created in 800AD in an Irish monastery and the Latin manuscript is 340 folios, a.k.a 680 pages. It takes its name from the Abbey of Kells, the abbey that was home to the manuscript for many years, but now it is on permanent display in Trinity College Dublin.
