Brian Aldiss, the sci-fi author, whose story ‘Supertoys Last All Summer Long’ inspired Steven Spielberg’s 2001 film AI: Artificial Intelligence, has died peacefully at the age of 92.    His death was announced in Twitter by his family today.   It is with great sadness we announce the death of our beloved father & grandfather.
