The Silver Bear is about an assassin named Columbus who goes by the name Silver Bear, who wishes to take down a powerful politician before making his way into presidential candidacy. Though Derek Haas wrote the script for Wanted and 3:10 to Yuma, Frank Baldwin will adapting to the book to screen.

According to Variety Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chairman Joe Drake says “The Silver Bear is the kind of story that needs to be experienced on the big screen and Jordan is the perfect movie star to inhabit the skin of this dynamic character and take us into the cinematic world of Columbus. We’re incredibly honored that Michael and Nickel City chose Lionsgate to partner with in bringing this exciting property to life.”

Nickel City Productions and Jordan’s Outlier Society Productions will be producing the soon to be film.

Their is no director attached to the project but I think George Miller (Mad Max: Fury Road) would do a fabulous job. What do you guys think?
