In the fall of 2017, Lord of the Rings fans were given the greatest news in all of Middle-earth: Amazon Prime declared that they were to adapt Tolkien's epic fantasy, only in an entirely new way and age. Instead of taking place in the Third Age, it would cover a prequel to the trilogy we all know and love, only the exact synopsis of the Second Age adventure was not revealed... until now!
