Don’t Worry Harry Potter Fans, Emma Watson is not Retiring

Don’t worry, Potter fans! Recent rumors that Emma Watson is retiring from acting are not true, according to her manager.

Last Thursday, the Daily Mail suggested that the actress will be taking a step back to spend time with her partner Leo Robinton.  Their source says that she wanted to settle down and possibly start a family.

The article reports that Watson has gone “dormant,” which is industry-talk for retiring. But now we know that it’s not true! Jason Weinburg, Watson’s manager at Untitled Management, has confirmed that Watson is not retiring. “Emma’s social media accounts are dormant but her career isn’t,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

Watson was last seen as Meg March in Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of Little Women. She’s best known for playing Hermoine Granger in the Harry Potter movie series, Belle in Beauty and the Beast and Sam in The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Whatever her next project is, we wish Emma all the best!
