Bing Liu, a Chinese-American director and cinematographer, best known for directing the documentary ‘Minding the Gap,’ which was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 91st Academy Awards, is now attached to direct the adaptation of Ocean Vuong’s debut novel On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous.  The book is being adapted by A24, an independent entertainment company which has distributed and/or produced films and TV shows such as ‘Lady Bird,’ ‘Moonlight,’ and ‘Euphoria.’ The news of the adaptation and Bing Liu being attached to the project were announced on the A24 podcast, in which Vuong mentioned that Liu is consulting with him for …
