As far as I can tell, every reader thinks they don’t read often enough, or well enough. It’s no secret that as we get older, it becomes more difficult to find the time and energy to commit oneself to a book. Our minds become contaminated by interpersonal drama, career concerns, and general anxiety, and it can seem almost impossible to let all that go for a couple hours a day. Why is it such an uphill battle just to keep up our favorite pastime? We’d like to know.
