5. The Friend Zone by Abby Jimenez

Let’s start off this list with an early release.
Abby Jimenez is a new author, but not an unfamiliar face. Her website notes that “Abby founded Nadia Cakes out of her home kitchen back in 2007. The bakery has since gone on to win numerous Food Network competitions and has amassed an international cult following.”
Well, now she’s cooking up new novel that’s sure to be a delicious treat!
Kristen Peterson has a secret: she has to undergo a medically necessary produce that will make it impossible for her to have children. Of course, at her best friend’s wedding, she meets the best man, Josh. She falls head over heels for him, as does her dog, but Josh wants a big family someday. What to do?
Kirkus Reviews calls the novel “[a]n excellent debut that combines wit, humor, and emotional intensity” and you’ll surely agree so, if you haven’t picked up this June 11th release, do yourself a favor.
 

4. Waiting for Tom Hanks by Kerry Winfrey

Another June 11th release, this author of YA novels Love and Other Alien Experiences and Things Jolie Needs Before She Bites it, Kerry Winfrey is trying her wits of romance with this awesome book: Waiting for Tom Hanks!
A brilliant novel about young Annie Cassidy who dreams of meeting her very own Tom Hanks, she gets a job on a film set to see if her life of love is worth. While on set she meets the lead actor, Drew Danforth, a man who only has one thing in common with Tom Hanks: he’s an actor. Oh, this guy isn’t the Mr. Right, or is he?
“Calling all girls and women downtrodden by life and love—happiness awaits!” Kirkus Reviews announces, so grab your popcorn and tissues and be sure to pick up this book from your local bookshop on the way to the theater!
 

3. Girl Upside Down by Nicole Williams

Oh, this one just came out today, oh boy!
An author of three dozen books, ranging from Young Adult to Contemporary Romance, this veteran of Romance (or is it Romantic Veteran?), Nicole Williams, has brought us the newest addition to her stunning bibliography!
What happens when your mother dies and you’re sent to live with your father, the father who walked out on you three years ago? Quinn has to deal with this, and more, but the stars shine upon her when she’s meets Kel, the local baseball star who attracts not only trouble but Quinn’s affections. Quinn will be magnetized to him, but will she end up hurt in the process?
Kirkus Reviews gives a stunning review of the book, saying that “[p]otentially weighty explorations of relationships and responsibility are managed with a light touch in this pleasant romance”.
Quinn will want to go with Kel, but will you want to get this book?

2. Save the Date by Monica Murphy

Another veteran of the genre, you might know Monica Murphy’s name from her hit bestselling series, The Billionaire Bachelors and One Week Girlfriend.
Like Williams, Murphy also has a book that’s just been released today. Let’s take a look, shall we?
Caroline works with love. Specifically, she helps newly engaged couple pick out invitation for their dream wedding an pick out save the date cards. Then, one day, love strikes when who would walk in but a nasty bridezilla and her soon-to-be-husband, the boy Caroline shared her first kiss with!
Tension only rises when Alex spies this bridezilla with another man! She tells Alex, Alex breaks off the engagement, and the ex-bridezilla has gone completely crazy. But so has Alex-completely in love, that is. She falls for Alex, but it is to soon?
Having been published both traditionally and independently and had over a million of her books sold, Murphy is an inspiration for any upcoming author.

Well, they are all written by Rachel Higginson, and she’s got a rather unique romance book coming out today that you should definitely have on your reading list. Ready to hear about it?
Written in first person, Clover Calloway tells how of she had a past: she used to be a singer in a rock band. Sounds pretty rockin’, right? Well, not exactly.
