Snuggle Up with these New Romance Novels

What a wonderful time of year it is to snuggle up with a book. Make some hot chocolate, light the fireplace or a candle, and open a nice book. Why not open up one of these books? They are filled with so much romance you won’t be able to stop reading. It’s the perfect time to find your fictional lover and snuggle with them.

 

1. Tools of Engagement by Tessa Bailey

Tools of Engagement, tells the story of extremely organized Bethany Castle. Everything in Bethany’s life is organized, except for the men in her life, which is why she’s decided to put them on hold and focus on her work. Except, her brother won’t take her seriously when an opportunity to flip a house from the ground up comes up. Bethany really wants to flip the house, and she’s flipped so many homes already for her family’s company. Then a competition show called Flip Off wants Bethany and her brother to be on the show due to their rivalry, and whoever has the best renovation wins, but Bethany doesn’t have a crew to help her. The only person willing to help her is the person she can’t stand, Wes. He knows how to get under Bethany’s skin and she isn’t in the mood to deal with him. However, they do work together to flip the ugliest house on the block, and along the way their banter turns into flirting. Unfortunately, Bethany knows falling for Wes could be a big disaster.

However, Stacey imagined her faire fling, Dex MacLean could be the one she’s been looking for, even though he is nice to look at, but the emotional connection just isn’t there. Then she receives an email from him and she isn’t sure what to think. The two begin to share online conversations for nine months and then when the Faire comes back to town Stacey realizes the man she’s fell in love with online isn’t Dex, but someone she never met.

Ties that Tether, tells the story of Azere, who made a promise when she was 12 years old to her dying father that she would marry a Nigerian man to preserve their culture. Now, Azere is an adult and living in Canada, her mom has set her up on another date that didn’t go well, so Azere goes to a bar and meets Rafel, and the two enjoy each others company and end up in bed together. Unfortunately, Rafael is white and Azere knows her mom would never approve. Azere can’t help her feelings for Rafael but she also doesn’t want to disappoint her mother. She questions if being with Rafael makes her less Nigerian, and if she could be with him without compromising her identity. Azere has a lot to think about and she has to decide between her happiness or her mother’s approval.

4. The Roommate by Rosie Danan

The Roommate, tells the story of Clara Wheaton who is the complete opposite of her family. Her family is known for their lack of impulse control, while Clara is predictable and overachieving. When Clara is asked by her childhood crush to move across the country, the offer is to good to resist, but also too good to be true. After a bait-and-switch, Clara finds herself sharing a lease with a charming stranger, Josh. Even though Josh is handsome, Clara couldn’t help herself and ended up looking him up online, and now she knows how he became famous. Clara might just become the most scandalous story in her family, and now she is rejecting his prowess by tackling the stigma against women’s desire. Although, Clare and Josh do agree that women deserve better sex and what they do it about will definitely change their lives and will help make everyone else lucky too.

5. Lies and Lullabies by Sarina Bowen

At the time she didn’t know he was a rock star, he was just a guy she spent the summer having a nice friendship with.
