This book is a retelling of the Russian tale of Koschei the Deathless. The novel follows Marya Morevna, who, instead of being kidnapped by him like in the original tale, marries him. It is full of magical quests, power, lust, and war. If you like the darker side of fantasy and/or beautifully lush writing go and pick this up immediately.
Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno Garcia

Gods of Jade and Shadow takes place in Mexico during the Jazz Age, but if the setting is not enough to convince you to read it, it is about a girl named Cassiopeia who accidentally frees the spirit of the Mayan god of Death. He tasks her with helping him recover his throne that was stolen by his brother, and if she fails, she will die. Together they travel all across the country and into Xibalba, the Mayan underworld, to complete their mission. If you are a fan of mythology or just like amazing characters, unique settings, and diverse reads don’t hesitate to add this to your TBR pile.
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

Angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley have to team up to save the world from apocalypse, which, according to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, will come a within a week on Saturday. Only one problem; the only way to stop it is to stop the Antichrist from provoking it, but they seem to have misplaced him. You can go lose yourself in this amazing book by these amazing authors, and as a bonus, after you do you can go binge the show!
