1.Debbie Ridpath Ohi: Read-Alouds and dAILY Drawing Prompts

Author and illustrator Debbie Ridpath Ohi of Where Are My Books? posts daily drawing prompts and activities on Twitter with the hashtag #KidsDailyDebbieOhi. She is also posting drawing tutuorials and picture book read-alouds on her channel on YouTube. She has a selection of printables — activities, book templates, bookmarks, etc. — on her site.


Author and illustrator Mo Willems of Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus is releasing daily videos to invite kids to draw and create alongside him. These videos are released weekdays at 1 p,m. ET. This is being done in collaboration with the Kennedy Center.

Author and illustrator Dav Pilkey of the Captain Underpants and Dog Man series is hosting a weekly video series featuring drawing lessons, read-alouds, and highlights from the Library of Congress’ collections since he is working in collaboration with them. The videos are live Fridays at 8 a.m. ET on Twitter (@LibraryCongress@Scholastic) and Facebook (@LibraryofCongress@Scholastic). Throughout the week, he will also be sharing various printable activities and prompts.
