But it wouldn’t be a second-chance novel if they’re strangers. As it turns out, seventeen years ago, they spent a steamy week together, completely in love until life separated them before they could have their ever after. However, even though they were physically separated, they never forgot. Unbeknownst to anyone, Eva and Shane hid messages to each other within their books where only the other would recognize them. This book depicts a beautiful love that never faded, but instead was put on pause.
