Thirteen years ago today, Stephanie Meyer’s final novel in the Twilight saga was published. Breaking Dawn sold 1.3 million copies in the U.S. within the first 24 hours of its release, making it the most popular of the series behind Twilight and New Moon.
However, it’s also the most criticized of the series and received mixed reviews from readers. One of the main reasons is because of how much information is thrown to the audience in such a short amount of time. From Renesemee’s birth to an assortment of never-before-seen vampires, the fourth novel can be a lot to unpack.
So to make things fun, we’ve gathered a few memes to celebrate the craziness that is Breaking Dawn, both from the book and film adaptation. Sit back, relax, and don’t get caught by the Volturi.
